Mark Thurston

My name is Mark Thurston and I have been a licensed Realtor – working hard for people in the buying and selling of homes - since 1990 (yes, that is before the internet and cell phones!). There are a lot of things that I like to do outside of Real Estate, and most of those things center around our family. I have been married to the most wonderful woman, Sherrill since 1983. We have four amazing children (three of which are married) and nine Grandchildren that we simply adore. I love hanging out with my Wife, talking and laughing with our kids, and spending as much time as possible with the Grands!

I enjoy greatly being a Realtor. Whether it is working with first time home buyers, a family who needs more room because they have outgrown their current home or helping to transition those more “seasoned” from their long time home to something smaller and more manageable…I love working for and with people. I have learned quite a bit over the many years of being a Realtor: that a house is not just a house, but it is a home (there is a difference). When people decide to move, it is a life decision that does not happen often – and the need for care, honesty, direction, hard work and guidance is needed from the Realtor they put their trust in. I strive to do all these things and more for those who trust me with this important endeavor. If I don’t know the answer – I know where to get it.
